Fic: Elemental - Part 3 [7-8 of 18] Ensemble, post-X2 (rated mature)

NOW AVAILABLE:
Present Interlude #6
Chapter 22 - Bulletless Bodies
WARNING: I would like to reiterate that the "mature" part of "Rated Mature" starts here. The sex, violence and swearing will be in full Ewan Macgregor mode. I'm just sayin'.

Summary: Someone is after the Summers brothers. The bad news is they've already succeeded in taking Adam. The worse news is that Scott, Remy, and Alex have to work together to save him. And you thought the Brady Bunch was dysfunctional.

Disclaimer: All the characters you can recognize belong to Marvel Entertainment. The movieverse versions also belong to Fox, Brian Singer, David Hayter, and Zak Penn. The pictures aren't mine either; they're gacked from The James Marsden Web, Josh Holloway Fan, Paul Walker World, and Desiring Hayden.Net. Basically, the only this that's mine is the geekiness.

Okay, I totally had coherent squeeing until the end of chapter 22 and then Hank and Alex KILLED ME DEAD.

There was Brad Pitt and George Clooney! And LEMURS! Also a brilliant source of vanilla!

Please to be noting my post about being a giant geek and taking joy from my geekitude. This? Is precisely what I meant.

Because I so love this:

"Come on, sweet thing. Tell Daddy everything he needs to know."

One of Hank's brows cocked up. "Should I leave you and the laptop alone?"

"Probably. It's gonna get kinky soon; I'm gonna go Boolean."

"My oh my. If you need further aid in cybertronic inequity and lasciviousness, I'll be in my office wondering what in heaven's name your father put in his Wheaties to produce such singular children."

DIES! DEAD!

Oh, my geeky, geeky, brilliantly nerdy geeky dorky boys!

Smart men are hot.

(Oh, and am I wrong to love the Scott and Logan interaction as much as I do? Cause there's something about the image of Scott purposefully shooting Logan--three times--to save him that makes me grin a little too widely.)

I am all aflail at Hank's vocabulary.

Seriously, men, take note: the way to my heart is big. words. Save the dirty talk, unless you can say it in Latin. ;)

Hee! Thanks bunches! I read somewhere (probably through [info]minisinoo that Alex finished college before Scott partly because he was the smarter one. I kind of took that and ran. Alex's temper vs. his intelligence is a fun fun fun dichotomy to play with.

Also, there is nothing wrong in wanting Logan shot multiple times. I love doing it. :D

In other news, "vocabularly" is obviously a neologism that narrows the definition of "vocabulary" to... uh... damn, I got nothing.

*throws a party*

I think it was the combination of Alex and Hank that fried my brain. Because that much smart in one place is DEADLY.

In other news, "vocabularly" is obviously a neologism that narrows the definition of "vocabulary" to...

Okay, whatever point you tried to make was utterly lost because the word "neologism" made me flail.

It seems wrong that words should be so sexy.

Oh, I know. I'm completely fangirling my anatomy instructor at the moment because he's on his third graduate degree-- the first had something to do with neuroscience and the other on the A&P of birth defects (like the Elephant Man!)

Dude, I fangirled my Shakespeare prof so much.

He was writing a book on mousetraps in the 16th century.

WHO DOES THAT?!

His wife had a baby and he WENT ON PATERNITY LEAVE.

Also, he had red hair and a beard and wore awesome sweaters.

This does not sound as sexy as it was.

And I totally just re-read a post I made about him and oh, he was awesomesauce incarnate. =D
